This is review of Bandai SHFiguarts Ultraman [ Shin Ultraman ], an action figure fron Shin Ultraman The Movie.

Head Sculpt

The outline is a little thin, but the head shape is close to normal Ultraman. The comb part is thin and sharp, unlike normal Ultraman, there were no characteristic black spots (peepholes) under the eyes.

Body

Slender proportions as you can imagine in the notice. Both red and silver have a dark and calm texture. A big feature is that there is no color timer. The body shape is less undulating than the old Ultraman, and it feels like a slim body.

Arms and Legs

This area is also quite slender. The red pattern is similar to the old one, but only the thighs are sharp. Movable swing is possible on both neck and waist. However, the neck does not move much upward. The shoulders can be raised and the elbows and knees can be bent deeply. The hip joint also moved widely back and forth and sideways, and the ground contact was high. The only option is the wrist. With soft vinyl, Ultra action figure Shinman, and normal SHF Ultraman. The size is almost the same as the action figure. 

Articulation and Movability

The body shape is unique, but the joints are normal, so you can move as usual. There is no problem with fighting poses. The ankles are small so it is a little unstable, but the joints are stiff so you can stand on one leg. It is a mystery whether there is a scene that moves agilely because there are almost no moving places in the notice. My chin didn't seem to rise so much, and I tried to force it up and my head came off several times. There is no problem with kneeling.

In the SHF Ultraman series, effects for special moves are often attached, but this time there is none. Painting pose. You can just put it on, but you can also wear a Brothers cloak. Confrontation with soft vinyl Gabora. It may come out later in Monatsu, but soft vinyl can be bought for about 2,000 yen, so it is reasonable as an opponent. This is unlikely to happen in the main story. 

Summary

This is the review of SHFiguarts Ultraman (Shin Ultraman). Since the movie has not been released yet, there are many parts that I do not know the details, but the proportions and colors were almost as I imagined in the notice. Since there are no effects etc., the play value by itself is a little low, but since the joints are made with SHF as usual, flexible poses are possible, and it is interesting that even if you fight with the released soft vinyl monsters, it will have a pretty atmosphere.
