SHFiguarts Kamen Rider Saber Dragonic Knight Form Review
Head
As with the body, this time it has a kKnight armor-like design, giving it a more elegant atmosphere than the Brave Dragon. The compound eye mold is as precise as usual, and the central blade and black line painting are also accurate.
Body
The shape is similar to the Brave Dragon, but the modeling is almost all new. The characteristic silver is reproduced with metallic paint for a luxurious appearance. Unlike the Brave Dragon, the modeling is symmetrical. The abdomen like the abdominal muscles was also three-dimensionally shaped. The belt is the same as before, and the book is a new model. The design of the book has been reproduced from this time, and the appearance has been greatly improved. A holder with a wonder ride book on the right hip. This book is removable.
Arms and Legs
This area is also well painted with metallic paint, so it looks good. The hem part was also finely shaped such as wrinkles. The arms are asymmetrical and the left arm is equipped with a dragonic booster. The dragon's mouth can be opened and closed. The holding method is to fix it in two places, the grip and the pin on the back of the booster. The details in the mouth are also precise.
Weaponry and Accessories
Flame sword fiery fire modeling is the same as that of the Brave Dragon, but this time the blade is painted metallic and the appearance is improved. The three-dimensional effect was increased by painting, giving a firm impression. With the one that comes with the Brave Dragon. There is more difference than I expected to put them side by side. A holy sword for the belt is also included. This can be inserted next to the belt as usual. Dragonic Knight Wonder Ride Book (closed). A closed book is also included. The rough silhouettes are similar, but they have almost nothing in common.
Movability and Articulation
The joints are made in the same way as before, but this time the collar was long, so the neck area became a little cramped. Since the waist turns firmly, there is no problem with the movement of swinging the sword. It is also possible to reproduce the reading scene by biting the closed book with the Dragonic booster. The hem of the robe is made of soft material as usual, so there is no problem with kick poses. If you fix the booster with just a pin, you can hold the sword in both hands. Dual wield using the Kougouken Saikou from the Gashapon collection. This Kougouken Saikou was a little delicate because the blade was quite short.
Summary
The body shape is good as usual, and the metallic paint on the whole body is also polite and cool, but this time, in addition to that, the problem of unpainted weapons and belt books, which was a drawback of the SHF Saber series, has been solved. The overall look has also improved significantly. The movement was tighter than other riders only around the neck in terms of design, but there was no particular problem with the others, and the gimmick of the Dragonic booster was reproduced in detail and there was no big dissatisfaction with the content.
