Below is review of SHFiguarts Ultraman 55th Anniversary Ver. from Ultraman series has released by Tamashii Nation and Bandai as action figure.
Ultraman
Ultraman (ウルトラマン Urutoraman) is an alien from a place called the Land of Light in Nebula M78, who chased the monster Bemular to Planet Earth, and merged with Shin Hayata during his tenure there. He is the first Ultra to visit Earth and defended the planet against Kaiju until he was recalled after his battle with Zetton. Ultraman was given his title by his human host.
SHFiguarts Ultraman 55th Anniversary Ver. Review
Head
Same as normal except for the color. The eyes are the same cloudy clear parts as before, and the positions of the black circles have not changed. The part of the comb was slightly warped due to individual differences, but it was not noticeable.
Body
The modeling is the same as the normal Ultraman. It seems to be a 55th anniversary product, and the red and silver parts are painted metallic. The metallic paint makes it look sharper than normal, but the paint is a little rough.
Arms and Legs
The form is natural as before. The painting was polite in this area.
Option Set and Accessories
SHF Ultraman 55th Anniversary Ver. comes with a Brothers cloak that was not normally attached and ultraman 55th anniversary pedestal. As usual, there are no columns. Replacement color timer (red). This is the same as normal.
The cloak has the same silver lining, but the red has a strong metallic feel. The point that the wire is included is the same. Even with the Brothers cloak on.
Movability and Articulation
Since the modeling is the same, the movement is the same. Since the original is good, each part can be widely moved this time as well. The joints were a little loose in the normal version, but this time it has just the right hardness.
If you balance it, you can stand on one leg. The shape of the body when the limbs are straightened is also beautiful. The effect was attached in the normal, but it is not attached this time. The cloak has also been changed to look a little flashy to match the main body.
Summary
This is the review of SHFiguarts Ultraman 55th Anniversary Ver. As a souvenir of the 55th anniversary of Ultraman, the original Man is released with the whole body metallic paint specification that is common in Ultra Arts.
The modeling is the same as the normal Ultraman, but the metallic paint makes it look sharper, and the goodness of the original modeling makes it a product that looks like a commemorative item. It was regrettable that the paint on the chest, which was rather conspicuous, was rough, so I wanted you to be more careful with products that mainly use this kind of paint.
