This is a review of action figure SHFiguarts Don Momotaro from Avataro Sentai Don Brother series.

SHF Red Sentai Don Momotaro Review

The proportions are slightly slender as in the play. The details of each part were precisely reproduced, and the red color was just as I imagined.

Head

A model that captures the characteristics of sunglasses that are big enough to protrude to the side, a peach on the forehead, a topknot, and a curved mouth. The peach on the forehead and the mask part are painted metallic. The silver on the edges of the sunglasses was also painted accurately.

Body

The figure is slightly slender as in the play. The design is simple, but the peach mark on the chest and the wrinkles on the abdomen are detailed. The belt is a Dombra buckle that has a similar design to Zenkaizer's Zenkai buckle.

Arms and Legs

This area is also slightly slender and the design is simple. Like Zenkaizer, the form and wrinkles have become more natural than before. back. The neck is movable, but the swing of the waist is narrower than the recent riders and Zenkaizer. Shoulders can be raised horizontally.

The knee bends deeply, but the elbow is about 110 degrees. The hip joint is a pull-out type that can be moved widely in the front and back and has good grounding. Zenkaizer was able to pull out the shoulders a lot, but this time it was just a little.

Option and Accessories

A folding fan is printed on the flap part of the box. The central gear is rotatable. Accurate reproduction of fine colors such as sunglasses and gear parts. Zangla Sword have no particular gimmick. It was beautiful, such as the painting of the blade that became a gradation. Almost the same size with Zenkaizer own. As in the play, Don Momotaro had a slightly slimmer torso and limbs.

Movability and Articulation

As mentioned above, the movement is somewhat inferior to Zenkaizer, such as the waist and shoulders. The stiffness of the joints is not a problem, and one-legged standing is possible.

Since the handle is attached to the left and right, it can be equipped with the Zangla Sword at the same time. Since the topknot interferes, the hands will be behind a lot, but it is possible to do a large upper stage. The width of the shoulder drawer is narrower than the Zenkaizer and recent Rider Arts, so holding the sword with both hands was cramped.

It is quite disappointing that there was no proper fan although it was made of paper. If another character appears, I would like you to attach the folding fan there.

It was a pity that the movement of the waist and shoulders was inferior to that of the Zenkaizer, and that it didn't come with a fan, but the movement wasn't that bad, and it came with two types of weapons, so there was a wide range of scenes that could be recreated.
