REVIEW SHFiguarts Kamen Rider Zero Two [ Izu Ver. ], Bandai
This is review of action figure Bandai SHFiguarts Masked Rider Zero-Two [ Izu Ver. ] from Toei Kamen Rider Zero-One Series.
SHFiguarts Masked Rider Zero Two [ Izu Ver. ] Review
At first glance, it looks like Zero One, but the shape of the armor is slightly different, and the modeling is new. Since Izu is a woman, her figure is also a little petite.
Head
It's similar to Zero-One, but since it's a reinforced form, there are more details on the forehead and the edge of the face, and the antenna is red. The shape of the antenna is very sharp. The fine paintwork was also accurate and finished well.
Body
It features a muffler-like design on the collar. Since the person inside is a woman, the torso is a little short and petite. The belt is Hiden Zero Two Driver and this is also new. As usual, the progress key is removable.
Arms and Legs
The limbs are also slightly shorter. There are more silver lines than Zero One, and the wrist changes to red like No. 2.
Option set and Accessories
The height difference in the play was also reproduced exactly.
Movability and Articulation
The body shape is slightly different, but the joints are almost the same as Zero-One, so the movement is almost the same. Since the original Zero-One moves well, it can also reproduce a wide range of movements. The neck and waist can also be rotated. A wrist that can reproduce Izu-like movements is also included.
Summary
For some reason, the Izu Ver. came first, perhaps because it was determined that this order would sell better, but the modeling and painting was stable as usual, and the petite body peculiar to the Izu Ver. was well reproduced. The articulation is as good as the regular Zero-One, and it comes with wrist parts that reproduce Izu-like hand movements in the play.
