SoC GX-37R King Joe [ Ultra Seven 55th Anniversary Ver. ] Review
The size is one size larger than SHF. The head and body are a little thicker than SHF, and the paint is gorgeous.
Head
The painting of the electronic lamp on the head is more flashy than the SHF, giving it an appearance similar to the image of when it emits light in the play. The details of the left and right antenna bases are also slightly different from the SHF, and the details have changed in various ways.
Body
The fuselage is thicker than the SHF, and the inverted triangular form stands out. The rainbow panel was also a little bigger. There is a small gap on the side and back of the waist because there is a deformation combination gimmick.
Arms and Legs
The length and thickness of the limbs are not much different from SHF. However, unlike there, there are no wrinkles, so the impression that the robot feeling is increasing.
Movability is a bonus. The neck is fixed and the hips swing only slightly. Keep your shoulders almost horizontal and forward about 30 degrees without bending backwards. Elbows and knees are about 70 degrees.
The hip joint opens only slightly, and there is little movement back and forth. The grounding is about average, but it is heavy, so the ankle feels a little wobbly.
Option Set and Accessories
Come with a set of pedestals. This reproduces the separation deformation gimmick that was not in SHF. It can be separated into four UFOs: the head, chest, waist, and legs, and can be displayed on a pedestal.
Released with additional head, arm wrist part to deformation. Chest part is with the antenna and cover deployed. Antenna is also deployed. Smallest part out of four. The bottom from the knee is stored in the thigh, and the antenna is deployed from the upper tube. Spare antennas and base springs are also included. Pedan alien disk is also included.
The pedestal has a spring that opens in the center when a button is pressed, and the Pedan Alien Disk can be fixed there. It is also possible to fix the main body to the pedestal by using the stand support for the head. At that time, the remaining three pillars could be stored in the back. The size is one size larger this time. The body color was similar, but the panel color and body shape were quite different.
Movability and Articulation
This is also made to be inconspicuous such as gaps, so it looks good. Originally released in 2007, it's quite old, and it's made with emphasis on transforming and combining, so the movement is really a bonus. This is the limit of the movement of raising both hands, so if you want to pose, it seems better to play with SHF. No damage even if you hit it.
Summary
The original was released in 2007, so there are some parts that feel old, but the modeling is still not inferior, and the overall gold color and the rainbow panel on the chest are beautiful, and the appearance is very good. I was able to do it well. Because it is made with a focus on the separation and combination gimmick, the movement is just a bonus, but the separation and combination gimmick is well made, and it is possible to decorate it by floating it, and it looks good.
The price seems to be nearly double that of the original product released in 2007, but it seems to be quite premium now, and from my recent sense, I feel that this price is relatively cheap for Chogokin.
