Like recent Rider Figuarts releases, the proportions of Kamen Rider Gavv's Poppin Gummy Form closely match its on-screen counterpart. The armor's gradient paintwork is beautifully executed, and the use of clear parts enhances the overall aesthetic, providing a high-quality finish.

Head Sculpt

The beast-like facial structure, the lined design around the edges, and the compound eyes are all meticulously recreated, staying faithful to the show. The fine molding of the eyes is as detailed as ever. Up close, there are some minor paint bleeds, but the precision of the black lines and color separation remains impressive.

Armor & Detailing

The suit’s shape, clear armor pieces, and the colorful gummy-inspired motif are all well-represented. The transformation belt, Gavv Driver, is intricately sculpted, with most details accurately painted, though the central Poppin Gummy Gochizou is a single color.

Belt & Accessories

The belt’s upper jaw can open, and the Gochizou piece in the center is removable. The lever on the right side can also rotate. The left side features a Gochizou Holder, with a Bluecan Gochizou attached, which is also detachable.

Arms & Legs

The limbs are slightly slender, reflecting the suit’s on-screen design. The forearm and shin armor incorporate the same clear parts and gradient paint, maintaining a polished look.

Articulation & Movement

The neck and waist have a good range of motion, allowing for expressive posing. The shoulders feature a ball-joint connection at the back, enabling them to lift high without obstruction. Elbows and knees bend well, and the hips use a pull-down mechanism for extended front and side movement. The figure also has good ground contact, making dynamic stances stable.

Accessories & Optional Parts

No weapons are included, only additional hand parts. Special hands are provided for holding Gochizou, allowing for accurate pose replication.

Compared to previous Rider Figuarts releases like Geats and Gotchard, the size remains consistent. Gotchard had a higher initial price (7,700 yen) due to extensive chrome detailing, while Gavv’s release is more affordable at 4,950 yen.

Poseability & Action Shots

Punching Pose:Full range of motion in the neck and waist allows for solid action stances.
Landing Pose:Excellent balance and ground contact.
Kicking Pose:The figure maintains stability even in one-legged stances.
Hammer Punch:While the arms have a pull-out mechanism, the range for inward bending is somewhat limited.
Kneeling Pose:Executed without issue.
Rider Kick:The iconic move from the Gotchard summer movie is faithfully replicable.
